True to Form: Vladimir Ossipoff Architect
A historical documentary commissioned by the Honolulu Academy of Art for its traveling exhibition of 20th century modernist architect Vladimir Ossipoff. Born in Russia, raised in Tokyo and trained as an architect in California, Val Ossipoff’s influence on modernist architecture looms large over Honolulu, the Hawai’ian islands and far beyond.

An Architect's Legacy: James Stirling's Students at Yale
A series of short exhibition films capture the energy and attitude of British architect James Stirling during his time as a visiting professor at Yale. Among those interviewed: Robert A. M. Stern, Leon Krier, Cesar Pelli, Peter Eisenman, Stanislaus Von Moos, Craig Hodgetts, Robert Livesey and Emmanuel Petit. The films consider the debate about where Stirling stands as a Post-Modernist.

KDN was commissioned to produce this historical film to celebrate the re-opening of this landmark. The film is now a permanent fixture at The Guardian Building, playing for visitors on a loop in the lobby.

This documentary chronicles the life and work of one of the most prolific, controversial and influential architects of postwar America, a dangerous apostate to the Modernist movement’s fanatical fervor, Eero Saarinen. The 20 minute film traveled the world as a major part of an exhibition on Saarinen.
