Stern, Leon Krier, Cesar Pelli, Peter Eisenman, Stanislaus Von Moos, Craig Hodgetts, Robert Livesey and Emmanuel Petit. The films consider the debate about where Stirling stands as a Post-Modernist.

Eero saarinen: Shaping the future
This documentary chronicles the life and work of one of the most prolific, controversial and influential architects of postwar America, a dangerous apostate to the Modernist movement’s fanatical fervor, Eero Saarinen. With dramatic flair and courageous experimentation, Saarinen helped define the international image of the U.S. at the start of the Cold War with some of the most potent symbolic expressions of American identity such as the St. Louis Gateway Arch, the General Motors Technical Center, the TWA Terminal at JFK Airport, the CBS Building in Manhattan and Dulles Airport.

What We Learned: Venturi Scott Brown at Yale began as an oral history recording that expanded to a short exhibition film about the legendary Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown and their Las Vegas studio in 1969. Shot in Philadelphia and New Haven, the short clip shows how the exhibition curator and two architecture students get to know the couple and plan the exhibition.

A series of short virtual exhibition films were created about the work of David M Schwarz Architects, Washington DC, seen at forpeopleandplaces.org. As the 33 year old firm designs with a eye toward civility and sustainably, excelling in public work that includes, hospitals, sports arenas and opera hall. Their work was documented in Texas, Washington DC and New Haven CT.

Hanging By a Thread: The Minoru Yamasaki Legacy
In early 2010 the Archives of Michigan rescued records of the Yamasaki architectural office from a paper shredder. Minoru Yamasaki designed the World Trade Center and many other important projects worldwide. In the early 1960s he would be the most prominent Asian American of that time, appearing on the cover of Time Magazine. KDN Films has started production on a documentary that will investigate his work and his times.
